I am working on a new science-fiction book with the working title, the 21st Century. As always I need a diversion from my main body of work and I thought I would try fiction opposed to my usual scientific content writing.
It will be loosely based on personal experiences as well as my core scientific writing. It presents a possible future in which mankind will travel out into the cosmos, inhabiting the moon and building fleets of spacecraft. Constituting hard Sci-fi, I can promise that the level of science in it will be bar none.
I am using the Arthur C. Clark book (my favorite Sci-fi author of all time by the way), 2010: Odyssey 2 as a rough template combining both scientific and spiritual journeys within the book, and will hopefully be a successful work either self- or media-published.
Unfortunately, some of my other activities will have to be put on the back-burner for a while. My present financial circumstances bar me from the practical work on manned space vehicles, but I didn’t want to waste valuable time hence this new idea.
